Make following the law an advantage, not a burden
Regulated cannabis operates under a demanding, evolving legal framework. Licensed operators pour enormous resources into proving compliance — and even so, when an audit comes, the evidence is usually scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and manual records that can be lost or manipulated.
Sativa L Trace changes that. Every event in the production cycle is anchored to a permissioned blockchain: immutable, dated, signed by whoever performed it. In front of MAG, MINSA, or ICD, the answer stops being "trust us" and becomes "here's the record, verify it".
Who's behind it
A real operation, not just an idea
Sativa L Trace was built inside WOLI CBD S.A., a Costa Rican company founded to develop products and technology solutions for the medicinal cannabis and industrial hemp industry. The system emerged from solving an internal compliance requirement under Law No. 10113: while building the traceability architecture for our own operation, we found that the same infrastructure addressed a structural need across the entire national market.
Today the system is under active development as WOLI CBD S.A.'s internal platform, with its architecture already validated against the regulatory framework. The next milestone is a query-node pilot with MAG, MINSA, and ICD, so each regulator can verify compliance directly from their own node on the network, without relying on manual reports.
